Wamba Girls Rescue Center

Our Center

Within the beautiful yet harsh, arid landscape of Northern Kenya, we have built a safe haven for girls who have been rescued from sexual violence. We help these girls continue their education and live joyful, fulfilling lives.

Our facilities provide safe housing, healthy food, clean water, and education for over 100 girls. We are actively raising money to support our operations and expand our facility to support more girls in need.

Location

We are located in Wamba town in Samburu county in Northern Kenya within the Great Rift Valley at the foot of the beautiful Mathews mountain range. Samburu east is an arid area with unreliable rainfall and with frequent, long droughts that decimate the pastoral communities.
